Trusting in 2025
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” – Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV
As we step into a brand-new year, the possibilities feel endless. A blank canvas stretches before us, ready for the strokes of our hopes, dreams, and resolutions. And if we’re honest, there’s also a weight to it—an undercurrent of uncertainty that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or hesitant to take the next step.
That’s why I want to challenge us to make this verse our personal goal for 2025: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…”
Easier said than done, right? Trusting fully requires letting go—of control, of fear, of the endless mental gymnastics we do to figure everything out on our own. It’s not just about trusting God when things are smooth but also when life feels uncertain or chaotic.
I don’t know what challenges 2025 holds for you or me, but I do know this: God is trustworthy. His track record is flawless, even when we can’t see it at the moment. Leaning on our own understanding is tempting—we like to have all the answers—but it can only take us so far.
Think about the last time you truly acknowledged God in all your ways. Not just in the big decisions like a career move or a relationship, but in the everyday choices—like asking for wisdom before a tough conversation, or seeking His guidance when you’re juggling too many commitments. What if this year we invited God into every corner of our lives?
When we acknowledge Him, something amazing happens: He promises to direct our paths. That doesn’t mean the path will always be easy or straight. It means He’ll guide us where we must go, even when we can’t see the destination clearly.
So, here’s the challenge: Let’s make 2025 the year we trust Him fully. When doubt creeps in, let’s turn to His Word. When we’re tempted to lean on our own understanding, let’s pause and pray. And when we see Him directing our paths, let’s share those stories to encourage one another.
Because trusting Him is never wasted—it’s the foundation for a life filled with peace, purpose, and direction.
Are you ready to trust Him with all your heart this year? Let’s make 2025 the year of trust and transformation together. Share this post on your social channels, and comment with how God is challenging or encouraging you for 2025. I’d love to walk this journey of trust with you!
