On a Roll with Iowa’s Only Chick-fil-A Food Truck

Recently, I had the privilege of talking with the hosts of the “My Pleasure” unofficial Chick-fil-A podcast. They are a great pair that certainly bring the love of Chick-fil-A to all their listeners. In the episode, I got to talk about my love for Chick-fil-A, the people of Iowa, and people in general.
I was blessed to serve as a pastor under Shawn Lyons, my mentor and senior pastor, at Harvest Church in Derry, PA for 12 years. Pastor Shawn instilled in me to believe God for big things, to do the best with what the Lord has entrusted to me, and to love people into God’s kingdom so they too can experience the rich life He desires for all to experience.
It was in my church office that I was challenged to believe God for more. Our first restaurant, “Madres Mexican” was birthed as a result.
One year later I was in my office again and the desire to pursue a Chick-fil-A franchise overwhelmed me. It was through the encouragement of Shawn, my mentor and friend, to not settle for less than the best God had dreamed for my life.
